Eric started programming BASIC when he was seven, thanks to a computer summer day camp his parents got him into. By highschool, Eric had moved up to Pascal, and then Turbo Pascal in college. Post-college, he was still noodling around with Pascal when the Web hit, and that’s where he’s been ever since.
Eric is an author, speaker, and consultant. He’s best known for his work in web design standards, most notably with CSS. He has written numerous book and given even more presentations. He’s co-founder of An Event Apart and may or may not be the creator of Jeffrey Zeldman (zeldman.com | @zeldman).
